Montbello High School reopened for the 2022 school year after its doors closed in 2014. As noted on the Denver Public Schools website, "In response to years of community advocacy and feedback from the Montbello community, Denver Public Schools unified Collegiate Preparatory Academy, DCIS-Montbello, and Noel Community Arts School into the new Montbello High School and Montbello Middle School." Construction and redesign are currently underway.
